Ipswich River Watershed

Nutrient Sample Sites - Ipswich Watershed - 1999 through 2002 - Idrisi Raster File.

Abstract:

This datalayer is part of a group of layers used for research in the Ipswich River Watershed. This layer contains the single pixel locations of each water nutrient sampling site within the
Ipswich River Watershed. This layer is the basis for further analysis of possible influences on nutrient sample site data.

Core Areas:

Data set ID:

258

Keywords:

Short name:

GIS_ip30_info_nutrientsamplesites

Purpose:

To extract data from other raster files in Idrisi for locations where chemical samples were taken.

Data sources:

GIS_ip30_info_nutrientsamplesites

Methods:

Created ESRI format (ArcView3.2) point shape file from X,Y coordinates. Imported the shape file into Idrisi and converted to
Grid structure to match parameters from Ipswich 30m Study Area Window. NOTE: February 2002, Location of Sample site number 70
was adjusted one column (one 30-meter cell) to the west (from original location: row 299, column 1355, to new location: row 299,
column 1354), in order that the site would be located within the Info_Town Mask window.
