Year 2012, continuous measurements, every 5 minutes for the first deployment and 15 minutes until the end of the year, were made of conductivity, water temperature in a small headwater stream, Saw Mill Brook, Burlington, MA, draining a highly suburban catchment (72% residential). in the Ipswich River watershed.
Conductivity and water temperature were measured using a HOBO datalogger inside a perforated PVC pipe along the south bank of the stream channel.
Specific conductance was calculated using a conductivity assistant in the HOBOware software.
NOTES AND COMMENTS:
The datalogger was deployed on Novermber 30, 2012 at a sampling interval of 5 minutes. The sampling interval was changed to 15 minutes on December 20, 2012.
