PIE LTER Year 2017, 15 minute measurements of conductivity, water temperature at the Parker River head of tide, Central St. Dam in Newbury, MA.

Abstract:

Year 2017, continuous measurements, every 15 minutes were made of conductivity, water temperature in the Parker River behind the head of tide Central St. Dam in Newbury, MA.

Methods:

Conductivity and water temperature were measured using a HOBO datalogger inside a perforated PVC pipe along the bank of the reservoir.

Specific conductance was calculated using a conductivity assistant in the HOBOware software.

NOTES AND COMMENTS: The datalogger failed on August 11 and a replacement logger was deployed on September 14.

1 -- Datalogger malfunction

2 -- Datalogger not deployed

Maintenance:

Measurements completed for year
