Year 2014, continuous measurements, every 15 minutes were made of conductivity, water temperature in Bear Brook in Reading, MA, a small headwater stream draining Cedar Swamp, a mainly wetland catchment (49% wetlands and swamp + 36% forest) in the Ipswich River watershed.
Conductivity and water temperature were measured using a HOBO datalogger suspended inside a perforated PVC pipe in the center of the stream channel.
Specific conductance was calculated using a conductivity assistant in the HOBOware software.
NOTES AND COMMENTS:
The datalogger failed between August 8, 2014 and October 13, 2014. Logger was taken out of service on October 13, 2014 and a replacement logger was deployed on December 5, 2014.
FLAGS:
1 -- Datalogger not deployed
