Year 2015, continuous measurements, every 15 minutes were made of dissolved oxygen, water temperature in the Ipswich River behind the head of tide Sylvania Dam in Ipswich, MA.
Dissolved oxygen and water temperature were measured using a HOBO datalogger secured inside a perforated PVC pipe attached to the south dam abutment.
Dissolved oxygen percent saturation was calculated using HOBOware software and barometric pressure data from Marshview Farm.
NOTES AND COMMENTS:
HOBO dissolved oxygen loggers have a sensor cap that requires replacement every 7 months. If the logger is deployed when the sensor cap expires, no usable data is collected after that point.
