PIE LTER Year 2018, 15 minute measurements of conductivity, water temperature at the Parker River head of tide, Central St. Dam in Newbury, MA.

Abstract:

Year 2018, continuous measurements, every 15 minutes were made of conductivity, water temperature in the Parker River behind the head of tide Central St. Dam in Newbury, MA. The datalogger was removed in August and returned to Dr. Green at Plymouth State University.

Methods:

Conductivity and water temperature were measured using a HOBO datalogger inside a perforated PVC pipe along the bank of the reservoir.

Specific conductance was calculated using a conductivity assistant in the HOBOware software.

NOTES AND COMMENTS: The datalogger failed on August 11 and a replacement logger was deployed on September 14.

1 -- Datalogger malfunction
2 -- Datalogger not deployed

Maintenance:

Measurements completed for year
